Engr Fredrick Adesoji Aderinto becomes SQI College of ICT’s new Rector. this is following the official statement released by Dr Adeyemi C. Aderinto, the President and immediate past Rector of the college on the 31st of August.
I will be stepping down from the position of the Rector of SQI College of ICT on September 1, 2020. The SQI College of ICT is a subsidiary of SQI ICT Consultants an umbrella organization over both the SQI College of ICT and SQI ICT Solutions. The SQI College of ICT under my leadership has served as the training arm of the mother company since 2008 under the name SQI ICT academy before it became a College in 2018 and has produced over 5,000 graduates mostly of who are ICT experts serving as CEOs and CTOs or leaders in their respective organization. I congratulate Engr Fredrick Aderinto as he will be taking over from me from Sept 1st, 2020 for the tenure of 3years. A long term ICT professional and enthusiast and a long time mentor to SQI, I believe in his capabilities to do more and take the institution to unprecedented heights.

The New rector who has been a stakeholder in the college and a seasoned ICT expert, resumed office on the first of September is to occupy the office for the next 3 year. In a meeting with the members of staff, later on, he solicited the support and cooperation of everyone to move the college to the next level.
The outbreak of the COVID-19 Pandemic is no longer news to anyone as it has caused a worldwide panic, and the damage of the outbreak in all sectors and on human lives has been so devastating on everyone.
Adhering to the order given by the Federal Government to close down all social activities and gatherings so as to curb the continuous spread of COVID-19, we are sad to inform you that our physical classes will be on hold starting from the 23rd of March till further notice.
Nevertheless, our remote classes will continue in a number of departments. We as an institution have an effective school management system that is standing the test of this time. With Edozzier, an AI School Management System, we have been able to effectively and successfully take all the physical operations of an institution online. Lecturers and students will take and receive their classes, tests and examinations remotely. The entire administration will effectively do every of their jobs like they were in their physical offices. We care about the development of our students and do not want anything to interrupt their learning.
In lieu of this, we enjoin everyone not to panic, stay at home, wash your hands often, and avoid social gatherings.

This is to invite all candidates seeking admission into 2021/2022 Academic Session for (2) year full time programmes of study at SQI COLLEGE OF ICT
SCICT ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
The minimum entry requirements for the NID programmes are specified below;
A minimum of five (5) credit passes at WAEC/SSCE, NECO, GCE and NABTEB in not more than two (2) sittings, which must include English Language, Mathematics, any other 3 subjects
Awaiting result is acceptable but candidate must possess 5 credit before graduation.
Applicants should have written and score at least 120 in 2021/2022 UTME.
Those who score lesser in their UTME can also apply but will have to pass the College’s internal test & interview to validate their application.
Those that didn’t partake in 2021/2022 UTME will have to undergo JAMB Late Application (formerly referred to as “regularization”) for them to have a JAMB registration number.
