The National Innovation Diploma (NID) offered at SQI College of ICT is an approved academic program of National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) an important organ under the Nigerian Federal Ministry of Education. The National Innovation Diploma programme provides access to Technical and Vocational education in Nigeria.
When students complete academic studies, they are awarded the National Innovation Diploma which is equivalent to and conforms with the standard National Diploma certificates awarded in polytechnics and mono-technics in Nigeria.
Students who successfully complete the NID programme can use the Diploma certificate to seek admissions into the University through Direct Entry or for Higher National Diploma (HND).

SOFTWARE ENGINEERING
Software Engineering is one of the most in-demand jobs across the globe today. Software engineers are computer science professionals who use knowledge of engineering principles and programming languages to build software products, develop computer games, and run network control systems. They are typically tasked with thinking about and planning the structure and interactions of software at a high level.
COMPUTER HARDWARE ENGINEERING
Computer engineering is a branch of engineering that integrates several fields of computer science and electronic engineering required to develop computer hardware and software.
Computer hardware engineers research, design, develop, and test computer systems and components such as circuit boards. Computer hardware engineers research, design, develop, and test computer systems and components such as processors, circuit boards, memory devices, networks, and routers.

GRAPHICS & MULTIMEDIA TECHNOLOGY
Graphics and multimedia technology includes interactive, computer-based applications that allow people to communicate ideas and information in a compelling manner through the use of powerful computer-based applications. Applications of graphics and multimedia technology can be seen in the print and digital media, Graphic illustrations, 2D and 3D design and animation.
OFFICE TECHNOLOGY MANAGEMENT
This programme designed to equip students with Secretarial/Office skills for employment in various fields of endeavour. Students of this programme are exposed to courses in their special areas as well as courses in general education. In addition to the acquisition of vocational skills in Office Technology and Management, the students are equipped with effective work competencies and socio-psychological work skills, which are very essential in everyday interactions with others in order to become self-reliant and adequately equipped with entrepreneurial knowledge to meet the developmental needs of the nation.
NETWORK & SECURITY
Computer Networking is the study of how computers can be connected together to share data and other resources. Network security consists of the policies and practices adopted to prevent and monitor unauthorized access, misuse, modification, or denial of a computer network and network-accessible resources. Computer Network and Security experts are responsible for overseeing the computer networks for any security threats or unauthorized users. They may have to install computer security software, conduct regular security audits, prepare security status reports, and assist in disaster recovery.
