In a remarkable display of commitment to advancing technological education in Africa, the SQI College of ICT has successfully wrapped up its 14th annual SQI ICT Scholarship Program. The event drew an unprecedented number of participants, with over 8000 registrations across the African continent and its physical campuses

This year’s scholarship program has awarded scholarships to 3842 individuals who have demonstrated exceptional potential, allowing them to pursue various tech courses of their choice. Remarkably, over 10 exceptional candidates were granted full scholarships, meaning they will bear no cost for their training at SQI College of ICT. This full scholarship not only underscores the institution’s commitment to fostering talent but also ensures that financial constraints do not hinder the aspirations of deserving candidates.

Dr. Adegbenro Ajani, the rector SQI College of ICT, expressed his enthusiasm for the event’s success, stating, “Our mission is to equip Africans with the tech skills needed to thrive in the digital age. This scholarship program is a cornerstone of our efforts to make high-quality tech education accessible to all.”
The selection process for scholarship recipients was highly transparent, focusing on their potential, passion for technology, and commitment to leveraging their skills for positive impact.

Among the full scholarship recipients was Caleb Oladepo, who shared his excitement, “Receiving this scholarship is a life-changing opportunity. SQI College of ICT has not only recognized my potential but has also given me the means to achieve my dreams without financial strain.”

The SQI ICT Scholarship Program is more than just an educational institution; it is a movement to empower Africans with cutting-edge tech skills. The college’s vision is to transform the continent by nurturing a generation of tech-savvy professionals who can drive innovation and development in various sectors.

The institution continues to foster an environment where talent and ambition are nurtured, and where financial constraints do not impede the pursuit of knowledge.
