The National Innovation Diploma (NID) offered at SQI College of ICT is an approved academic program of National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) an important organ under the Nigerian Federal Ministry of Education. The National Innovation Diploma programme provides access to Technical and Vocational education in Nigeria.

What is NID?
NID is an acronym for National Innovation Diploma. It is an accredited program by the NBTE, the same body that accredits all polytechnic and monotechnic programs and courses
Is NID the same as OND?
YES, NID, and OND are equivalent, NID requires that you are more innovative than any other Diploma student. So, more practical work is required for NID.
How many years is the NID program?
The NID program is a 2 years program. Those that intend to go for HND will be required to do a compulsory 1-year I.T.
Do you have a part-time program for NID?
Currently, NO. Once the part-time program is available, it will be published on our website and our entire handles on social media.
What are the Accredited Departments for NID at SQI College of ICT?

What is the meaning of the options under each Department?
Each Option is the professional Programme that has been included in your NID Programmes to make you outstanding and employable after the NID program.
Can I take more than one option?
i. Yes, you can take more than one option in as much as you have the financial and intellectual capacity for it.
ii. However, you can only take one option which has been added to your tuition fee, additional option programs come at a cost.
How much is the application fee?
The application fee is called the post-UTME registration fee and it cost #2,000. Visit edu.sqi.ng/nid to register now.
After you’ve been selected for admission, you’ll then pay an acceptance fee of #20,000.
How much is your tuition fee for the NID program?
The tuition fee for the NID program differs per course of choice, you can download the school fee breakdown in PDF format at edu.sqi.ng/tuition.
