Network security consists of the policies and practices adopted to prevent and monitor unauthorized access, misuse, modification, or denial of a computer network and network-accessible resources. Computer Network and Security experts are responsible for overseeing the computer networks for any security threats or unauthorized users. They may have to install computer security software, conduct regular security audits, prepare security status reports, and assist in disaster recovery.
