Eligibility
Here are the processes to gain admission to the college’s National Diploma program?
STEP 1: Five (5) Credit Pass at your O’Level (WAEC/NECO/GCE/NABTEB) result is required in relevant subjects not more than 2 sittings. English Language and Mathematics are COMPULSORY.
STEP 2: Apply through JAMB and choose “SQI College of ICT” as your first choice.
STEP 3: A minimum JAMB score of 120 is required in your UTME.
STEP 4: Obtain the Application/Post UTME form at the college or online: Click here
STEP 5: Attend a scheduled screening (exam and interview) at the college’s main campus.
STEP 6: Check your email regularly for admission updates.

Additionally, applicants with Awaiting Results can also apply. Just ensure all required documents are completed before the end of your program.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is SQI deviating from its core ICT focus?
No! SQI is taking ICT where it belongs. The function of ICT is to empower other industries and should not be standalone. Every industry today requires knowledge of ICT, and schools should no longer be delivering any course without it. This is what SQI is pioneering. Our accredited Accountancy and Business Administration courses integrate ICT.
Is the school accredited, and if so, by what accrediting body?
SQI College of ICT is fully registered with the Federal Ministry of Education, National Board for Technical Education (who regulate Polytechnics, Monotechnics and Others in Nigeria) and is recognized by JAMB.
Can I obtain a degree certificate at SQI?
Students with our ND Certificate can either proceed to HND or take Direct Entry into any University of choice.
Do the HND students go for NYSC?
We’re currently running ND programmes; however, our students will serve after completing their HND.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates into the full-time National Diploma Programmes of SQI College of ICT for the 2024/2025 academic session.
All prospective candidates who sat for the 2024 UTME exams and scored a minimum of 120 but are yet to gain admission for the 2024/2025 academic year are enjoined to apply immediately before the admission closes.
